Opening Ceremony of 2023 Ouhai Glasses Fun Sports Meeting

At 9 a.m. on October 15, 2023, the opening ceremony of the Ouhai Glasses 2023 Fun Sports Meeting was held at the headquarters. General Manager Mr. Wang Fenghua, Operation Director Mr. Yao Yonghe, Vice President of Production Mr. Qi Fei, Vice President of Yashi Optical Co., Ltd. Mr. Li Lei, Vice President of Logistics Mr. Chen Binhui, Acting Chief Engineer Mr. Zhang Rui, and Information Department Manager Mr. He Wei, attended the opening ceremony together.

In late autumn, the gentle wind carries the refreshing fragrance of osmanthus as the opening ceremony of the Ouhai Glasses Fun Sports Meeting slowly begins. This year's sports meeting has a total of 19 sports events, with a total of 623 participants. Under the careful organization of various departments, a total of 17 athlete teams participated. They are as follows: Office Sports Team, Engineering Department Sports Team, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Sports Team, Logistics Department Sports Team, Tuoshi Accessories Sports Team, Tuoshi Acetate Sports Team, Tuoshi Processing Sports Team, Tuoshi Metal Sports Team, Tuoshi Titanium Sports Team, Tuoshi Plastic Sports Team, Acetate Dedicated Line Section 1 Sports Team, Acetate Dedicated Line Section 2 Sports Team, Metal Dedicated Line Section 1 Sports Team, Metal Dedicated Line Section 2 Sports Team, Yage Acetate Sports Team, Yage Plastic Sports Team, and Yage Metal Processing Sports Team.

At the opening ceremony, representatives of athletes and referees solemnly swore to deliver a healthy and progressive sportsmanship and the values of fair and just refereeing to all athletes. At the opening ceremony, General Manager Mr. Wang Fenghua delivered an opening speech. “Sports spirit is the best embodiment of our enterprise spirit. The core purpose of holding the sports meeting can be summarized in eight words, that is, ‘strengthen the body, sharpen the mind', as we often say, ‘the body is the capital of revolution'. Without health, everything returns to zero. Strengthening sports is to make our bodies healthier and stronger, and more importantly, sports can exercise human mind. Whether the sports industry is flourishing often reflects the strength of a country. The Chinese team's lead in the Asian Games is precisely based on China's strong economic strength and good mental outlook. For us, whether each department actively organizes employees to participate in fun sports games and whether the athletes are in good or bad competition reflects whether our company is full of vigor and whether our employees have a fighting spirit. I hope that through fun sports, the spirit of Ouhai will be shown, so that we can take a place in the fierce market competition with the spirit of competitive sports. After the speech by the General Manager, the preliminary tug-of-war, women's 1500 meters, men's 3000 meters, and mixed men and women's 10,000-meter long-distance races were held. On the men's preliminary tug-of-war, the following teams successfully advanced to the next round: Office Sports team, Tuoshi Acetate Sports Team, Acetate Dedicated Line Section 2 Sports Team, Tuoshi Plastic Sports Team, Engineering Department Sports Team, Tuoshi Metal Sports Team, Yage Plastic Sports Team, and Metal Dedicated Line Section 1 Sports Team successfully advanced to the next round. In the women's preliminary tug-of-war, the Tuoshi Metal Sports Team, Tuoshi Acetate Sports Team, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Sports Team, Tuoshi Processing Sports Team, Tuoshi Accessories Sports Team, and Tuoshi Plastic Sports Team achieved good results. As the old saying goes, "When people are of one mind, even Mount Tai can be moved," the tug-of-war tested the spirit of teamwork. In the fierce duel between the two teams, the advancing team displayed their bravery, as if they could move mountains and astonish the world.

In the women's 1500-meter middle-distance race, Yang Danna, Guo Wenjuan, and Xu Zaiju won the championship, runner-up, and third place respectively. The athletes who won the championship, runner-up, and third place in the men's 3000-meter middle-distance race were Huang Cheng, Wang Zhengguang, and He Yong, respectively. In the 10000-meter long-distance race, Zeng Mei, Guo Wenjuan, and Xu Zaiju claimed the first, second, and third positions respectively in the women's group. Cheng Guanmeng, Jin Tianjie, and Huang Cheng won the championship, runner-up, and third place in the men's group, respectively. It is commendable that the top three athletes in the men's team all broke Games records.
