2023 Two-day Tour of Ancient Weir Painting Hometown, Adventure Island and Manager Team’s 130 kilometers of Cycling

On August 12, 2023, Wenzhou Ouhai Glasses Co., Ltd organized a two day tour of Ancient Weir Painting Hometown and Adventure Island Water Park in Lishui of Zhejiang, as well as a total of 130 km group-building cycling activity from company’s headquarters to Lishui Sports Center. The participants are over 400 including management cadres, meritorious employees and their family members. In the early morning of the 12th, the manager team took the lead and set off against the rising sun. At about 13:00, the tour group visited the Ancient Weir Painting Hometown directly by bus. On the evening of the 12th, the two teams gathered in the center of Lishui city for dinner and stayed at a hotel. On the morning of the 13th, the tour group carried out a water journey at the Adventure Island. This parent-child tour and group-building activity has achieved a complete success under the careful organization of the guarantee department.

A single person can ride faster, while a group of people can ride farther. Walking side by side, the scenery along the way and the care for each other are more fascinating. At 7 o’ clock on the 12th, the general manager Mr. Wang Fenghua led the cycling team of more than 30 people to set off from Ouhai Glasses towards Lishui, which is located in the northwest of Wenzhou. Although the scorching sun blazed like fire, the riding enthusiasm of the manager team was not wavered by the unbearable heat. The itinerary started from Ouhai Glasses and passed through Dalian Road, Ningbo Road, Shang’ao Road, Jinwen Road, Wenshou Road, G330 National highway, Nanhuan Road, Lishui Adventure Island, etc. Finally, all members who participated in the ride arrived at the final destination Lishui Sports Center at 16:00. After the end of the cycling activity, at 18:00, Mr. Wangfenghua gathered the manager team and logistics staffs to have dinner at Qing Chun Restaurant, awarded commemorative medals and prizes to them and conducted a speech to summarize the entire cycling activity. The general manager said, from Wenzhou to Lishui, the Ouhai manager team was not afraid of the scorching heat and the far distance, helping each other and walks side by side. Although there were many difficulties happening on the way such as tire damage and physical discomfort, we believed in “Where there is a will, there is a way”. With tenacious perseverance and fruitful skill reserves, we successfully completed the 130 km cycling journey and reunited with our families. Through the event, we discovered the team spirit of solidarity and mutual help as well as the fighting spirit of facing difficulties and never giving up. These spirits are not only indispensable and helpful for us to overcome the twists and turns on the road of life, but also are conducive to more excellent works to realize the strategic goal of Ouhai Glasses.

On August 12 at 13:00, management cadres, meritorious employees and their families departed from the company and took 7 buses to the scenic spot of Ancient Weir Painting Hometown in Lishui city. In this ancient and vibrant land, every corner showed the elegance of the water town in Southern China. They visited the ancient town, saw the temples and checked the 1500-year-old Tongjiyan Weir to appreciate the Chinese ancestors’ wisdom of controlling water. Moreover, they also took a cruise to enjoy the fabulous distant mountains and the water that was as clear as a mirror, and felt the unique flavor of Jiangnan water town in the picturesque landscape of South Zhejiang. With picturesque mountains and waters and extremely beautiful landscape, the Ancient Weir Painting Hometown was far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Tourists lingered in the thick unique humanistic scene and charming and gentle natural scenery, as if intoxicated.

On the morning of August 13, the two teams went together to Lishui Adventure Island Water Park and had a great family time. Wave pools, speed slides, maze fountains, big horn slide, drift river, jumping jets square … The Adventure Island Water Park is a paradise for children, and its colorful entertainment programs also dazzle the adults, helping them unleash their inner child. They temporarily bid farewell to the summer heat wave in the wave pool, experienced the joy of weightlessness in the big horn slide, and took a family photo with their lovers and kids at the jumping jets square to record the moment of beauty.
