Recently, Midea -a home appliance giant, has become the focus of Internet attention because of a "dialogue" between an "optimized" old employee and the chairman. At the beginning of May, an old employee of Midea left a message on the internal forum of Midea after receiving the notice of being "optimized". The general situation was that the old employee witnessed the rise and growth of Midea, and felt that he could not be filial to his father who was seriously ill, did not accompany his wife to give birth, and stuck to his post in order to complete the project. After reading the employee's message, Midea's chairman replied with the following sentence: "in the torrent of the times, we will suddenly realize the irresistible destiny at a certain moment; just as we fear the darkness, the night will still come as scheduled". When reading this sentence, I personally have different interpretations and feelings. The ancients said: generals are incompetent and the three services are affected. The so-called "crisis" means that danger and opportunity coexist. An enterprising team should see hope in the crisis and find an exit in the crisis without making excuses. As the leader of the team, he should lead the team to talk about projects, find opportunities and grab orders in difficult times, rather than believe in fate. To be honest, I don't want to see Ouhai's working hours adjusted due to the reduction of orders this year. Here are my three thoughts on shortening the working hours this time.

Remorse

Since its establishment, Ouhai has served many customers, ranging from A032, A029, A037 and other customers to e-commerce customers who have just started cooperation with our company, such as Warby Parker. It can be said that customers of all sizes in the world have cooperated with Ouhai. If we grasp every cooperation opportunity, the senior management team seriously promotes the strategic project of becoming one of the best suppliers for customers, and our customer group structure is enough to support a factory with more than 10000 people, we will not be affected by the economic environment, nor will we adjust our working hours to only five days a week because of the control cost. Therefore, our senior management team should carefully reflect on what aspects of the module they are responsible for are insufficient, and what aspects affect the cooperation between the company and customers. In particular, the team responsible for development, delivery, quality and production should be ashamed and brave. The logistics team should carefully sort out the logistics logic so that goods can be delivered on time. The engineering team shall ensure that NPI is well planned to ensure rapid and mass production. The quality team should do a good job in the early stage of quality planning and process control to ensure that the products delivered to customers have quality assurance. The production team should solve the bottleneck problem, and there should be no short board on the barrel. Only the development, logistics, quality and production teams have consolidated their basic skills, can they provide strong support and guarantee for business order receiving.

Chagrin

Sometimes, I feel a little "to will iron could turn into steel at once" about my subordinate teams. Most of the company's management cadres grew up at the grass-roots level, and some of them entered Ouhai as soon as they left the gate of the ivory tower. It can be said that they have witnessed the growth of Ouhai. The management cadres cultivated within these companies, by definition, have a high sense of identity with Ouhai's vision, mission, objectives and other cultures and concepts, and should be well aware of Ouhai's systems, systems and requirements. What annoys me is that although they are loyal, hardworking and aspiring, many jobs cannot achieve the desired results because of their lack of professional skills. For example, for the recent C018 customer titanium frame project, the first inspection and confirmation of laser welding was not rigorous, resulting in the large sample of the project could not be delivered on time, which has brought obstacles to the cooperation between the company and the customer. The salesman had to reply ten emails with the customer to explain, CQE had to make a CPA improvement report, and the company's senior management had to make a commitment to the customer at the special video conference... The first inspection, three checks testing and other quality control points are summarized through scientific planning and long-term practice of error correction and correction. It has a certain logic and practical basis. If the middle and grass-roots teams do not educate and train the following employees well and do a good job in on-the-job supervision, some seemingly minor problems will bring substantive obstacles to the cooperation between the company and customers. I hope that the management cadres of each module should do more strictly according to the requirements in difficult times of the enterprise, less trouble to the company, less things to make things worse, and more things to provide timely help.

Cherish

Tagore said, "if you shed tears when you miss the sun, you will also miss the stars." Its meaning is: let it lose when you lose it, don't care. Cherish what you already have, or you will lose what you have because of your negligence. As the saying goes:there are heroes in prosperous times and heroes in troubled times. There is a certain rigid demand in the glasses market. Consumers will not wear glasses because of the economic downturn. How to grasp the opportunity when the industry as a whole is not optimistic is the most important. When the economic crisis came in 2008, with the joint efforts of the team, we found a breakthrough in the crisis, successfully realized the product transformation, and caught up with and surpassed most eyewear enterprises. As a business team, we should constantly explore new opportunities, find new customers, maintain viscosity with customers, fall in love with customers, and treat customers as princesses, rather than treat customers as yellow faced women after they are captured. For this reason, the company requires the salesperson to understand the preferences and life of the customer team in addition to the content defined in the "Complex Five Turns" to provide satisfactory services to customers. At the same time, the standards office is required to formulate standards for each customer's profile, basic data, customer log, comprehensive service, etc., and establish a list in the system and realize the reminder function through the system.

In the face of this year's decline in orders, we should not only face the reality, but also not be pessimistic. The core is to do well in the present, grasp the present opportunities, immerse in the past will only miss the opportunities, cherish the present can look forward to the future, because the future must be based on the present. At the same time, we hope that the person in charge of each module should know the shame and then be brave. In difficult times, we should do our job well and implement the company's strategic projects. Only in this way can we have the foundation for growth, have the confidence of optimism and realize the corporate vision of "let us make life better ".
